Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and it’s natural to have questions. To help you navigate the process with ease, I've compiled a list of FAQs that cover everything from initial inquiries to final details. I recommend starting here to find the answers you need to get started!
General Questions
Do you offer tastings?
Yes! Send me an email at ohpastrybar@gmail.com to order a pick up tasting. Tastings must be scheduled at least 1 week in advance and you can select the day and time that you’d like to pick up. Earliest pick up time is 10am.
Do you deliver?
Yes! Delivery is $50 for the first 30mi from my location in Columbus. Additional fees will apply for anything outside of the 30mi range. Of course, you're always welcome to pick up your desserts the day before your event if you'd like! Anything larger than a 2-tier cake MUST be delivered the day of.
How far in advance should we order our wedding cake?
I recommend booking at least 3-6 months in advance, especially if your wedding falls during a peak wedding season month (May, August, September, etc.) to ensure availability.
Do you offer gluten free?
Yes, I offer a gluten friendly* vanilla cake! Chocolate covered Oreos and pretzels can also be gluten friendly*. *Gluten friendly means that this dessert is made without gluten containing products. It is still produced in a kitchen that uses gluten and not suitable for those with celiac.
Can you match our wedding theme or colors?
Absolutely! We can design your cake to match your wedding colors, floral arrangements, and overall theme. It’s best to provide inspiration pictures of what you’d like.
Customization & Pricing
How much do your wedding cakes cost?
There are several factors that determine the cost of your cake. Size of the cake, design complexity, location (delivery), and number of guests all affect the price of your cake. I will always try my best to work with any budget. If you're looking for a quote on a cake, please fill out an inquiry form to get in contact with me.
Can we have different flavors in one cake?
Yes! If you're getting a tiered cake you can have multiple flavors in one cake. My cakes have 3 layers but each tier can be a different flavor. Here's a quick reference for a little cake "lingo".
Do you make custom cake toppers?
No, but I’m happy to put any toppers you provide on to your cake during delivery!
Do you offer cupcakes or dessert bars?
Yes! In addition to cakes, i offer cupcakes, mini cupcakes, and full dessert bars for a fun and varied treat selection.
Booking & Delivery
How do I book my order?
Fill out an inquiry form to get the ball rolling and once you have approved my quote I'll send you an invoice for payment. I require a $100 non-refundable deposit to book your date. After that, the remaining 50% balance is due within 30 days and your final payment is due 30 days before your date. If your order is started within 30 days of your event date, full payment will be required to book and no refunds will be given in the event of a cancellation.

I'll do my best to accommodate date changes based on availability. Contact me as soon as possible if you need to adjust your delivery or pick up date.
